Tomboy to the core, Toni Valentine understands guys. She’ll take horror movies, monster hunts and burping contests over manicures. So Toni is horrified when she’s sent to the Winston Academy for Girls, where she has to wear a skirt and learn to be a lady while the guys move on without her.
Then Toni meets Emma Elizabeth, a girl at school with boy troubles, and she volunteers one of her friends as a pretend date. Word spreads of Toni’s connections with boys, and she discovers that her new wealthy female classmates will pay big money for fake dates. Looking for a way to connect her old best friends with her new life at school, Toni and Emma start up Toni Valentine’s Rent-A-Gent Service.
But the business meets a scandal when Toni falls for one of her friends–the same guy who happens to be the most sought-after date. With everything she’s built on the line, Toni has to decide if she wants to save the business and her old life, or let go of being one of the guys for a chance at love.

My thoughts: I was given this book in exchanged for an honest review. Thank you Netgalley and Spencer Hill Press.
This book left me with mix emotions, that’s why I gave it 3 hearts. I can say I really like the authors writing style and the concept of this story but it just didn’t do it for me. You start out by meeting Tonya aka Toni who is all tom boy. She has nothing but guy friends and hates all girly stuff. She gets in trouble and ends up in a all girl school. So she is at this new school, hating every minute but luck would have it she meets a girl who has trouble with guys and that is what starts it all. Because of Toni’s many guy friends she decides to start a service for renting out dates to the girls at her new school. Great idea right? It was until she fell for her best friend.
I really do like the concept on this story. I love tom boys and I love the whole renting out the guys but Toni wasn’t as developed as i would have liked and the romance in this book was just…ugh. I have to say though this is the authors first book and I love to see what she puts out in the future!
